M&S shoppers brand £23 trousers ‘very comfortable and perfect fit’
Marks and Spencer shoppers have branded a pair of trousers from the store as being “very comfortable” and “flattering”. The high street store has plenty of trouser options, yet one pair has racked up hundreds of positive reviews.
The Jersey Elasticated Waist Flared Trousers are priced at £23 and come in sizes six to 24. There is the option of having short/petite, regular and long leg lengths. Shoppers say the trousers, which come in the colour black, fit true to size.
Marks and Spencer’s description reads: “Transition seamlessly from busy days to cosy evenings with these jersey trousers from M&S Collection. They’re cut to a regular fit with an elasticated high waist and added stretch for day-long comfort.
“The soft fabric feels gentle against the skin, while the flared legs create a statement silhouette that adds a touch of style to your casual wardrobe.”
The trousers feature a high waist and an elasticated waistband. One shopper said: “Very comfortable and fitted very well. Just what I was looking for.”
Another added: “These are a lovely pair of casual trousers. They are a lovely material and look smart casual. Perfect for a flight on my next long haul holiday.” Someone else commented: “Lovely black stretchy trousers. Very comfortable and looks flattering. Looks great after wash as well.”
A fourth wrote: “I’ve bought this before they are very stylish granddaughter loved them. Will get some more, she had a size 12, they fitted well.”
Others also said the trousers are ideal to wear for work and school. One shared: “Trousers are excellent quality and perfect for work/school. I bought mine ages ago. Following my granddaughter’s school uniform change to trousers in September, I have now bought another 2 pairs for her.”
Despite the positive reviews, some shoppers have struggled with the sizing. One said: “A very small size 8 and the leg length is not as long as their other trousers, I will be returning.” Another added: “I always buy a size regular. But this felt like a size 10, very tight. The waistline was too tight and uncomfortable.
Someone else commented: “Bought size 10 in previous jersey trousers, which fitted fine, but these are really tight, so going back.”
Marks and Spencer isn’t the only store to sell similar trousers. Asos has ASOS DESIGN basic wide leg jersey trouser in black for £20 that come in sizes four to 18.
Meanwhile, TU at Sainsbury’s has Black Ponte Flared Trousers for £16. There are short, regular, and large lengths in sizes 6 to 24.
