Royal fans gush over Princess Kate’s ‘sublime’ £10k outfit | Royal | News

Princess Kate looked radiant as she made her first official solo appearance on Tuesday.

The Princess of Wales stepped out in London to visit the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, which is where she was treated for her cancer.

During what’s been dubbed an “incredibly poignant” trip for the princess, Kate met staff and patients currently receiving treatment at the hospital and spoke to them about their own cancer journey.

Royal fans were delighted to see the future Queen out and about looking well. But there were also jubilant over her sartorial choices.

Kate looked stunning in a brown and burgundy ensemble, sticking to her signature colours for the winter season.

The princess’s coat was a bespoke version of her Anyway wool blazer by Blazé Milano (£1,391), which she’s previously worn.

Underneath, Kate opted to wear Gabriela Hearst’s cashmere turtleneck in burgundy (£590), which she colour-matched with Edeline Lee’s plait skirt (£728).

She completed the look by sporting a new bag – Asprey’s Morgan handbag in bordeaux (£2,995) – and Russell & Bromley’s Pinpoint Court pumps in brown (£165).

For jewellery, Kate wore her wedding band along with her eternity ring (£1,500) and Cartier’s Trinity earrings (£3,050).

Royal fans took to social media to praise the princess’s look.

One user wrote on X: “The whole ensemble looks smart, but not too formal. The choice of colour mix certainly suits her.”

Another one said: “The cut of that skirt is sublime.”

A third one commented: “What I really love about Catherine’s style is the way she is able to mix shades of the same colour so well! Oh and her tailoring…top notch!”

A fourth one added: “Absolutely perfection! (and major coat envy!)”

A fifth one chimed: “Stunning and the epitome of elegance, grace, and style, as always. The coat is gorgeous!”

Following her visit, the future Queen revealed that her cancer is now in remission.

Kate took to X to issue a statement, taking the opportunity to thank staff at The Royal Marsden once again and announce that her cancer is in remission.

She said: “I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year.

“My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything. We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional.”

Elsewhere, she stated: “It is a relief to now be in remission, and I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.

“I am, however, looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support. C.”
