Susanna Reid’s floral dress is perfect for spring – save 60% off

Spring’s arrival means dress season is starting, and it’s time to embrace the warmer weather with floatier outfits and brighter colours. Susanna Reid‘s outfits on Good Morning Britain are great for spring inspiration, and we’ve noticed that one dress in particular would make the ideal stylish but easy-to-wear outfit for this time of year. Not only that, but it’s now also in the sale.

The Hobbs Lea dress has been slashed from £169 to £65, saving 60% off, and it’s still available in most sizes (ranging from six to 22) – although some are running low, so it’s worth being quick. You can also buy the dress in a petite length.

The dress has a bold floral print with shades of teal, mustard, and blue, and because the pattern’s set over a darker burgundy background, you can accessorise it with darker or lighter colours.

Considering Hobbs isn’t a cheap brand, it’s great to get a dress at an affordable price, especially when some of the dresses in the range go up to £350.

There are several details that give the dress a flattering cut: a v-neckline can elongate your neck and draw attention to your face and décolletage, and there’s a strip of fabric underneath the bust which draws in the fabric and skims over the upper stomach area.

The midi length is great for many occasions, and you could even wear it to a wedding with heels. While a straight-cut midi dress doesn’t always accentuate your figure, this has a slight flare out at the bottom to add shape. It’s handy that there are pockets, too, in case you want to keep some essentials with you.

Susanna’s not the only one who loves the dress, as shoppers are leaving reviews on the Hobbs website, with one saying: ”The style is perfect for my shape. It fits really well. The material is soft and gives a slight swing when walking along. Can accessorise with a range of colours.”

One review was not as complimentary: ”The quality of the material for the price of the dress was disappointing.”

However another had a different opinion, adding: ”Very wearable, uplifting colour mix, can be either dressed up or left casual. Hoping it’ll suit more than just one season.”

Marks and Spencer is a go-to for affordable but on-trend clothing, and if you want a floral dress that can be worn from day to evening and for lots of different occasions over spring and summer, the Floral Round Neck Midaxi Tea Dress is a good option.

It has a flattering v-neckline and midi length like the Hobbs dress, but it costs just £39.95, and as the ditsy floral print resurfaces every spring, it should remain in your wardrobe for years. Petite, regular and tall lengths are available and sizes eight to 24.

Seasalt’s dresses are often as practical as they are pretty, and the Charlotte Dress has the flattering material around the waist just like the Hobbs dress, plus pockets and a v-neckline. The fit is slightly more relaxed with a fuller skirt, making it ideal for wearing all day long and still remaining comfortable.

The dress costs £79.95 so it is slightly more expensive, but there are hundreds of reviews vouching for the fit, quality and pattern. Most sizes are still available in the petite, regular and tall options.
