Rob McElhenney shares selfie with Prince Harry and his co-star after the Duke attended football match between David Beckham’s Inter Miami CF and Los Angeles without Meghan Markle
Rob McElhenney has shared a new photo of himself with a smiling Prince Harry as the pair attended a football match between David Beckham‘s Inter Miami CF and Los Angeles without Meghan Markle.
The beaming Wrexham co-owner poses for the selfie in a bar alongside his It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-star Glenn Howerton, 47, and a grinning Duke of Sussex.
Harry can be seen wearing a stylish dark shirt, jacket, and jeans, while McElhenney, 46, wears a black and white striped shirt.
Howerton, wearing a black polo shirt, appears to be in a near identical outfit to Harry, 39.
In a heartwarming message on Instagram, McElhenney said: ‘Aside from that slight allergic reaction to the nuts, 2023 was one of the best years of my life.
‘Thank you to the people and places that made it possible. My life is full of love and joy because of you. So excited for 2024. I’ll stay away from the nuts.’

The trio appeared in high spirits as they watched Lionel Messi help Beckham’s Inter Miami secure a 3-1 win in September.
Howerton at the time shared a picture of the trio to his 847,000 Instagram and wrote: ‘Great seeing Harry and some of my favorite club owners Bill and Bob last night at @lafc v. @intermiamicf. Seeing @leomessi play live: wow.’
Actor McElhenney posted the snap on New Year’s Eve as part of a selection of throwback photos showcasing his highlights from 2023.
Other photos which were part of the reel included McElhenney meeting King Charles and Queen Camilla when the royals visited Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground in December.
Last month it was announced that Rob’s hit show Welcome to Wrexham had been officially renewed for a third series.
Disney+ announced that the Emmy nominated hit docuseries will return for series three in the spring of 2024.
The series follows the efforts of Hollywood stars Rob and Ryan Reynolds to return Wrexham AFC to glory.
Since the duo have taken over as co-chairman, the club has gone from the fifth tier National League to League Two in the Football League.

‘It’s a story that has only begun to be told and one that everyone can continue to follow along with in the third season.
‘Our thanks to the creative team who captured these thrilling moments and everyone who achieved what seemed impossible only a short time ago.’
Deadpool actor Ryan, 47, and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Rob, 46, teamed up to buy the football team in 2021 after the Welsh club went into administration.
Wrexham is the third oldest professional football club in the world, but hadn’t been in the Football League in over 15 years.
