Queen Camilla is a vision in blue as she sparks fan frenzy during Jersey visit | Royal | News

Queen Camilla turned heads today as she arrived in Jersey for a two-day trip with King Charles to the Channel Islands.

The Queen looked stunning in a midi light powder blue shirt dress as she braved the rain and stepped out at St Helier’s Royal Square to attend a special sitting of the States Assembly and the Royal Court.

She paired the look with a pair of beige sensible heels and a colour-matching handbag. She also used a beige trenchcoat to keep warm as she arrived.

Camilla accessorised her look with colour-matching earrings featuring diamonds and her signature ‘Apollo’ mini blue topaz and diamond pendant in yellow gold by Kiki McDonough (£2,300), along with her gold plate pendant with a ruby (her July birthstone) centre stone and the five initials of her grandchildren from her first marriage. She also donned a diamond brooch on her left shoulder.

Meanwhile, King Charles looked dapper in a grey suit, lilac shirt and colour-matching novelty tie featuring zebras.

Royal fans loved the look and took to social media to praise the royal on her style choices.

One fan wrote on X: “Queen Camilla’s admirable Elegance!!!”

Another one said: “lovely little brooch!”

A third one chimed: “Iconic literal Queen.”

A fourth one said: “Don’t they look fabulous!! King Charles always looks dapper, but this dress style and colour look extremely gorgeous on Queen Camilla! Love them”

Later, the royal couple will attend a large-scale open-air expo.

On Tuesday, Charles and Camilla are set to travel to Guernsey in what is their first visit to the two bailiwicks – which are Crown Dependencies off the north-west coast of France – since the King acceded to the throne.

The Crown Dependencies are not part of the UK but are self-governing possessions of the British Crown.

The royals attend a special sitting of the States of Deliberation and an ancient ceremony of homage to the monarch, held outdoors on the St Peter Port seafront where islanders can watch the events.

The trip will end the day before the planned State Opening of Parliament on Wednesday, which is also Camilla’s 77th birthday. She is said to have urged him to take it easy, but told author Lee Child he “won’t slow down and won’t do what he’s told”.

The visit highlights the relationship between the Channel Islands and the Crown which stretches back centuries.

Both Jersey and Guernsey have announced special public holidays to mark the royal visits on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

Charles and Camilla last visited the Channel Islands during the Diamond Jubilee year of 2012.
