Prince Harry’s ex Chelsy Davy shares sweet Mother’s Day snap with her two children

Chelsea Davy has shared a sweet snap of herself with her two children to mark Mother’s Day.

While the UK celebrates Mother’s Day in March, it falls in May for the rest of the world.

Chelsy, 39, who had an on-off relationship with Prince Harry for seven years until 2011, posted the picture on Instagram.

In the image, the mother-of-two, her son Leo, two, and daughter Chloe, eight months are all wearing cream outfits.

Chelsy, who was born in Zimbabwe, is holding Chloe while Leo stands by her side, wrapping one of his arms around her thigh.

The photo, which does not reveal the children’s faces, is accompanied by a short caption. It simply says: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to all those celebrating today.’

It follows a similar post shared by Chelsy in March, in which she wished those in the UK a happy Mother’s Day.

Entrepreneur Chelsea, who founded the jewellery company Aya Jewels, gave birth to her daughter Chloe last September.

Her son Leo was born in September 2022 – the same year she tied the knot with hotelier Sam Cutmore-Scott.

Her son’s birth was kept so private that his arrival only emerged three months later after he was introduced to their local parish council in Norfolk.

Many of Chelsy’s friends didn’t even know she had become pregnant in lockdown.

Sam is the brother of Jack Cutmore-Scott, 35, the Hollywood actor best known for his role in Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-winning film Tenet and the drama series Deception.

The siblings are close, and Chelsy is believed to have spent time with Jack in LA since she met her now husband around five years ago.

They were first pictured together on a family holiday to Mauritius over Christmas 2019.

Oxford graduate Cutmore-Scott is managing director at The Harper Hotel in Holt, the family business, and the couple are believed to split their time between a townhouse in Chiswick and the Norfolk coast.

‘They are married,’ a friend told the Daily Mail’s diary editor Richard Eden in May 2022, adding: ‘Very few people knew about the wedding.’

Sharing the news about her daughter last year, Chelsy wrote: ‘POV: it’s been three years and two babies since your last new collection, but you’re mega-excited to be back in the game.

‘Introducing the Chloe Collection, named after my baby girl. Hope you love it as much as I do x’

Chelsy met her husband Sam after an ‘on-again, off-again’, relationship with Harry, who had told friends before they split in 2011 that she was ‘the best thing that’s ever happened to me’.

They had met in London when they were both at school but got together in 2004, during Harry’s gap year travels in Zimbabwe, where Chelsy’s millionaire father owns and runs a game reserve.

It became so serious palace officials remarked that he had started calling her ‘wifey’ and she in turn called him ‘hubby’.

It was clearly serious when Chelsy would not only attend Harry’s cousin Peter Phillips’ wedding to Autumn Kelly – where she was introduced to the Queen – but she would also be invited to Prince Charles’s 60th birthday celebrations.

But the pressures of their conflicting careers and long periods apart as Harry served in Afghanistan took their toll yet again.

They split in 2010 and Chelsy has remained largely out of the spotlight in the 14 years since.

Party-loving Chelsy, who now runs a jewellery and luxury travel business, revealed in 2020 that she had a serious boyfriend.

At the time she did not give his name, explaining: ‘There is someone, and I am quite taken by this one, but it’s very new and I don’t want to say too much.’

Her last known boyfriend before then was dashing television producer James Marshall, from whom she split in 2018.

Davy was educated at Cheltenham College before moving to Stowe School in Buckinghamshire.

She received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Cape Town in 2006, and a law degree from the University of Leeds in 2009.
