Prince Harry shows off his polo skills and packs on the PDA with Meghan in brief appearance in his new Netflix documentary
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a cameo appearance in their new Netflix project – with the Duke of Sussex showing off his polo skills in the final episode.
The documentary, which has been executive produced by the Sussexes, follows the ‘high stakes, high glamour,’ world of polo.
Harry, 40, finally appears in the series finale playing at the Sentebale Polo Challenge at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Wellington, Florida.
Meghan, who was joined at the event by her close friend Serena Williams, put on a sensationally stylish display in a $812 (£650) dress from California designer Heidi Merrick at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge.
The royal, who has worn the designer before, paired the flowing white sundress with a statement bow and cut out back with a £2,650 Maison Valentino bag.
The One Stud White Leather Crossbody Bag is a favourite of Meghan’s who has worn it several times before.
After the match, the couple enjoyed a celebratory kiss – with Meghan presenting Harry with the trophy as they packed on the PDA for the Netflix crew.
The tournament is played between three teams in a round-robin format and helps to raise money for the charity’s work with children and young people in Lesotho and Botswana.
Harry looked thrilled to be back in the saddle and was seen grinning from ear-to-ear as he warmed up for the match
Supporting the determined Harry was Meghan, 43, who was seen sitting in a car boot in a glamourous white dress to enjoy the game from the sidelines with tennis legend Serena Williams.
Dressed in blue, Harry was part of the victorious Royal Salute Sentebale Team alongside Adolfo Cambiaso, Dana Barnes and Malcolm Borwick.
Harry and Meghan pulled up at the swish venue at around 4:30pm local time, with a film crew in tow shooting their every move.
The cameras continued to roll as they hopped out of their white SUV and were led to the clubhouse by excited staff as the Duke prepared for the charity match.
The dapper Duke appeared moments later on a terrace where he was seen chatting with guests and posing for group photos.
‘He looked the quintessential networker – shaking hands, smiling for photos. He looked in his element,’ one onlooker said.
At one point, Serena and Harry enjoyed a warm hug as the Prince checked in on the action away from the match, embracing like old friends – having grown close in the years since the Duke and Duchess began dating.

Much of the five-part documentary focuses on the Duke’s friend – a little-known Argentinian player Nacho Figueras.
In one episode, the Argentinian polo player and model told the cameras: ‘Prince Harry was not relaxing and he wanted to win at all costs, and I was the same way’.
The new Netflix series was released after it was reported bosses at the streaming company were disappointed over Harry and Meghan’s limited screentime in it.
A source told MailOnline that Netflix – who signed an $80 million deal with the couple’s Archewell Productions – expected ‘more bang for its buck’.
The new series, which hardly features Harry and Meghan, has been nicknamed ‘the Nacho show’ behind-the-scenes because it focuses primarily on the Argentinian player.
Harry and Meghan signed a five-year deal in 2020 for several shows, but one Hollywood producer told MailOnline: ‘What Netflix have received in return doesn’t look great. People want personal stuff.
‘Apart from their documentary series, which had the drama of them quitting the Royal Family, everything else they’ve produced has been underwhelming.
After the match, which Harry and his teammates went on to win, the Duchess was seen presenting her husband with a trophy
The Duke of Sussex was beaming ear-to-ear as the pair puckered up for a kiss in front of waiting photographers and the Netflix camera crew.
He added: ‘Any reasonable person tuning into a show about polo made by Prince Harry would expect Harry to take a starring role.
‘That he’s not is hugely disappointing for Netflix.
‘Let’s face it, polo isn’t exactly a mainstream sport so the attraction would have been watching Harry.
‘Without him, it’s marginal at best.
‘The Netflix deal expires next year, so the Sussexes need a big hit. This sounds like a big nothing burger.’
Another insider said: ‘For a show about a sport of Kings, polo barely features any royalty.
‘It’s not the Harry show, it’s the Nacho show.’
Mr Figueras, 47, has been dubbed ‘the David Beckham of polo’ but one source said: ‘Nice of Harry to do his mate a favour, but Nacho speaks broken English and is just not mainstream enough to pull in the ratings.‘

Worse, according to brand expert Hayley Knight, is that this style of show, which has been described as ‘reality TV gold’ by some social media users, could affect the image the Sussexes are trying to portray.
She told FEMAIL: ‘Prince Harry’s new documentary series about polo being dubbed as “reality TV gold” will be a blow for the Sussexes.
‘Whilst the sport’s exclusivity and prestige align with their carefully curated brand, the series being reviewed in this way undermines their broader efforts to be taken more seriously.’
Hayley added: ‘They have worked hard to carve out a narrative around philanthropy, mental health and authentic storytelling, and this review goes against all of this.
‘Polo is very close to Harry’s heart, and I can imagine they wanted to create something rooted in their personal value and heritage.
‘The series is now at risk of shifting these values, and mocking the very sport they hold dear.
‘This is obviously a passion project for Harry, but it raises questions whether the documentary has been made in a way that portrays this, and the brand he and Meghan are trying to build.’
