Meghan Markle’s A list pals including ‘momager’ Kris Jenner and Zoe Saldana show off their As Ever gift packages – after Sussexes ‘recruited famous faces’ for promotion

Meghan Markle’s A list pals including Kris Jenner and Zoe Saldana have shared their PR packages of the Duchess’s As Ever items – while regular shoppers were left wanting when the products sold out.
The Duchess, 43, officially launched As Ever on Wednesday, including jam which costs up to £10.82 per jar and honey which retails for more than £20 – and within an hour, she proudly boasted the range had sold out.
Many of her fans were left disappointed at learning the products were no longer available so soon after they had launched – but for Meghan’s closest Hollywood pals, special packages full of the pantry items were delivered to their front doors.
In Instagram stories shared by ‘momager’ and friend Jenner, and Oscar-winning actress Zoe Saldana, the stars gleefully revealed they had received plush boxes, which may well have been put together by Meghan herself, containing a delectable spread of As Ever goodies.
The Duchess then reposted the snaps on her own Instagram story.
It comes after a source told MailOnline Team Sussex is believed to have lined up famous faces and influencers to help boost sales.
‘People will be posting their jars of jam – they’ve seeded it to lots of influencers to get it out there and to plaster social media with ‘good vibes’ on launch’, they said.
Among the items in the plush packages were Meghan’s raspberry jam in ‘keepsake packaging’, crepe mix, a selection of her teas, shortbread cookie mix and adorable flower sprinkles.

Shortly after the launch the Duchess was accused of using a ‘common marketing ploy’ to help the range sell out in a matter of minutes.
The Telegraph quoted what they called a well-placed source as saying the items had been made available in small quantities and quickly marked as sold out to generate interest, which is ‘a common marketing ploy’.
In a post on social media, Meghan wrote: ‘We’re live! Come shop the As ever collection I’ve poured so much love into. So excited to share this with you’, before adding ‘limited quantities for each seasonal drop’.
MailOnline has approached the Duchess of Sussex and Netflix for comment.
Launching the range, Meghan told her followers in a newsletter that it’s a ‘love language’ rather than a brand.
In a gushing message to her followers, she wrote: ‘If you’ve been receiving these newsletters, you’ve been reading my musings about this brand and why it means so much to me – why it’s person, why it brings me joy, and how I hope that it becomes both personal and joyful for you too.
‘You’re now familiar with the line-up of products, and as of today you can order them for yourself to experience at home. I can’t wait to hear what you think!
‘Welcome to As Ever…this is just the beginning!’
The business venture comes just weeks after Meghan unveiled her new TV show, With Love, Meghan.

Ahead of the launch on Wednesday, Meghan gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into her Montecito mansion in a new video where she made banana pudding at home with her mother Doria.
The Duchess revealed she made a ‘Chantilly Lili’ – named after her daughter.
In a clip shared with her 2.6M followers, the former actress whipped up a banana pudding in cocktail glasses before adding cream, mint and raspberries.
Her famously private mother Doria Ragland, then tries a bite, and offers her critique.
‘It’s so good,’ she says.
‘Whipped up a special dessert with @nytcooking as we celebrate the launch of @aseverofficial today! Goodness is moments away,’ Meghan wrote.
‘In the meantime, enjoy the recipe for our ‘Chantilly Lili’ — a delicious dessert named after our darling daughter. So so so good. As special and sweet as she is’.
