Meghan Markle sparks fan frenzy in £1,000 designer outfit on ski slopes with Prince Harry | Royal | News
Fans are “obsessed” with Meghan Markle’s winter fashion as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex touch down in Vancouver, Canada for their three-day stint to celebrate one year until the winter edition of the Invictus Games.
The duo kicked off their visit at the ‘One Year to Go’ event, meeting managers, coaches, and competitors experiencing the adaptive sports.
For the first outing, Meghan Markle looked cosy in a quilted cream puffer maxi coat from Calvin Klein, costing £235 ($295).
She layered the coat over a matching ivory crew neck sweater by CO, costing £538 ($675), and white Sorel jeans.
Meghan paired her tonal look with a black Burberry beanie with fur pom-pom, and accessorised her outfit with Joan of Arctic Boots from Sorel which retail at £195 ($245) and black sunglasses from the eyewear brand, Blenders £51 ($64).
Royal fans have gushed over Meghan’s winter wardrobe with X user, @averyasherave writing: “I’m obsessed with Meghan Markle in winter outfits.”
Instagram user, @jadorelainie commented on the co-ordinated tonal outfit: “She looks absolutely lovely! The getup is co-ordinated and clean and her makeup is so pretty.”
The puffer jacket also caught the attention of social media users, with one writing: “Firstly Meghan looks soooo beautiful!!!! Secondly, I love her maxi puffer jacket and the boots.”
However, one user wasn’t too keen on the beige winter wear, stating: “I love the boots because sorels are great for winter. I dislike white and beige together so I don’t like the colour of her top paired with the white jeans.”
Another user had hunted for the outfit online and complained the coat had “already sold out”.
Meghan, who travelled without her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, was winter ready as she bent down in the snow to talk to the winter participants, alongside her husband Prince Harry.
She wore her glossy hair down, and opted for a fresh-faced look with blush cheeks and soft eyebrows.
The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 will include events such as alpine skiing, snowboarding, wheelchair curling, skeleton.
Taking place next February, it is the latest chapter in the legacy of a multi-sport competition launched by Harry in 2014 for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s appearance comes shortly after they launched their brand new website, sussex.com, a ‘one-stop shop’ for their work and activities.
