Meghan Markle danced and sung along to Sam Ryder‘s ‘Mountain’ at the Invictus Games closing ceremony in Dusseldorf, new footage shows.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, seemingly knew the lyrics to the Eurovision star’s track, which he performed following the seven-day sporting event in Germany which wrapped on Saturday night.
Posting to Instagram, the Essex-born popstar, 34, shared a clip of his performance, where he approached the royal sitting in the front row.
Wearing a strapless £830 Cult Gaia dress, Meghan danced and sang along with Sam – much to the delight of crowds.
Sam himself seemed delighted by the performance, sharing the clip to Instagram.

Prince Harry and Meghan rubbed shoulders with Sam and Rita Ora, who also performed at the ceremony.
The pair often schmooze with celebrities near their home in Montecito, California, so Saturday was no exception.
Prince Harry, who served in the British Army for 10 years and served two tours in Afghanistan, created the Paralympics-style competition for injured, sick and wounded service personnel and veterans, with the first event taking place in 2014.
Rita wowed in a glamorous gown as she posed with the royal couple backstage before taking to the stage to perform six of her hit songs.
The singer put on a very energetic performance as she showcased her impressive vocals and ran about the stage entertaining the crowd.
Rita wore some sheer criss-cross tights that showcased her slender pins and added a matching long sleeve jacket over the top.

The royal couple are used to rubbing shoulder with A-list celebrities as they have been close for years to the likes of Serena Williams and Misha Nonoo, they have also more recently got to know Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey.
Others in the Sussexes’s trusted inner circle include Gayle King, Misan Harriman and Sophie Trudeau as well as Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Tyler Perry has become one of Harry and Meghan’s closest friends since they moved to California – but they first had contact before their wedding in 2018.
During the Invictus Games, Meghan also sung along to Sweet Caroline and was pictured dancing in the crowd.
Meghan is no stranger to enjoying a boogie and was recently pictured in footage from her days acting in US legal drama Suits.
The clip – which was filmed in 2012 by co-star Patrick J. Adams but posted to Instagram last week – shows the royal with Suits co-stars and crew, including Rick Hoffman, who played Louis Litt in the legal drama, as well as Patrick’s wife Troian Bellisario, who is also an actor.

The footage appears to be taken in a darkened bar – most likely in Toronto where Suits was filmed – and shows Rick animatedly singing along to the song before the camera pans to Meghan and Troian.
‘April 1, 2012,’ Patrick simply captioned the post.
It comes as Patrick, who played Meghan’s husband in the legal drama, has changed his Instagram profile to reference the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The Toronto-born actor, 42, described himself as: ‘the guy from that show you’re watching on that app because that girl married that prince’.
Suits tells the tale of Mike Ross (played by Adams) as a plucky law school drop out who cons his law into a prestigious law firm and falls in love with beautiful paralegal Rachel Zane (played by Markle).

Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland and Meghan’s Suits co-star and close friend Abigail Spencer joined the couple in a private box. The members of their group, including the Sussexes, wore silver to match the singer’s request that her fans wear the colour to her show.
Meghan was seen clapping and waving her arms, while Doria, who celebrates her 67th birthday today, was seen dancing along to the music.
