Meghan Markle reveals the ‘adorable’ way Archie and Lilibet speak as she opens up about family life

Meghan Markle has revealed how her two children, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, speak – and it looks like they take after their dad, Prince Harry!
The Duchess, 43, made the confession during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show to promote her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
Per Us Weekly, the segment will air on Thursday – but during the taping, she apparently shared that her two little ones have picked up her husband’s British accent, even though they live in California now.
During Markle’s time on the talkshow, the outlet reported that Barrymore had asked her about her ‘favorite thing’ that her kids do that reminds them of their dad.
‘Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent, so they’ll say z-e-b-r-a and what else do they say?’ Markle revealed.
‘They have these little moments where it comes out and because they have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him and I think it’s adorable,’ she continued.
The couple’s eldest, son Archie, was born in the United Kingdom when they were still working royals, while daughter Lilibet was born in California.

During the appearance, Markle also spoke about how she makes sure to incorporate bedtime stories into her kid’s routines even while she’s traveling.
‘I always make it a point when I’m traveling if I can’t do bedtime stories with my kids because Archie and Lily are just three and five, so I’ll always pack a really thin book and I’ll videotape myself reading it so whoever’s with them or Papa can say, “Here’s mama reading your bedtime story,”‘ she shared with Barrymore, according to Us Weekly.
‘You find ways to show up for each other and if that’s the one thing that I can convey through the show or through As Ever as a brand, I want people to know you can show up for each other because you know how good it feels when someone shows up for you,’ the former Suits actress added.
Her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show comes just two days after the premiere of With Love, Meghan.
That same day, she also opened up her As Ever lifestyle brand website to the public to share what products are in her lineup, which are expected to be released soon.
The items included her famous raspberry preserves, of course, as well as a crepe mix, flower sprinkles and even tea.
In an email sent to her subscribers on Wednesday morning, she elaborated on the ethos behind some of her products, even giving a nod to her time living in England.
Markle wrote spoke about the shortbread cookies she was getting ready to offer, noting that they reminded her of living in England.

‘Crunchy and delicious shortbread cookies that remind me of my time in England, with tiny flower sprinkles to add extra beauty and charm to enjoy each delicate bite,’ Markle wrote.
She then explained her crepe mixes, which were ‘inspired’ by her time visiting France when she was a student.
And, finally, of course, she couldn’t end with out explaining her famous fruit spreads, which made headlines last year when she sent them out to her famous friends like Kris Jenner and Chrissy Teigen.
‘My beloved fruit spreads honed over years of recipe testing, the sweet scent wafting through the house; they type of aroma that makes you stop, close your eyes, and breathe it all in – the fragrance that says, ‘Welcome home,” the mom-of-two penned.
