Meghan Markle re-wore £200 Anine Bing top paired with khaki trousers for visit to Save The Children in Nigeria – after adopting colourful outfits on ‘royal tour’

Meghan Markle said she was upping the colourful outfits in her wardrobe for her visit to Nigeria, but on one engagement she couldn’t resist relying on her neutral favourites.

New footage has emerged of the Duchess of Sussex, 42, at a Save the Children event alongside her husband, Prince Harry, during their three-day visit, where they met employees, including Youth Ambassadors Maryam and Purity.

Meghan looked casual yet classy for the event and opted to re-wear her £200 Kylin slim-fit cream sleeveless knit top from Anine Bing.

She wore this garmment two years ago in 2022, when she joined Harry at an Invictus Games event in Dusseldorf, Germany

Back then she paired the ivory-coloured top with a pair of lengthy, oversized beige trousers and opted for a similar look this time around, donning sage green bottoms instead.

She was snapped wearing some of her staple jewellery, including her £17,800 gold Cartier watch, the same piece that Princess Diana once wore.

The mother-of-two also proudly sported this piece with her ensemble at the German Invictus Games.

Along with the Cartier watch, Meghan stacked it with her £5,000 Cartier gold Love Bracelet, her £16,000 Lorraine Schwartz ‘Against Evil Eye’ Five Eye Diamond Pave Bracelet and her Ariel Gordon Diamond Hex Tennis Bracelet that costs £4,300.

She clipped her brunette tresses back in a sleek bun and donned her gold Bottega Veneta Drop Earrings that retail for around £500.

Meghan is also thought to be wearing her Aquazzura ‘So Nude 105’ pink Slingback Sandals.

The Duchess opted for a natural look, wearing just a touch of eyeliner and mascara, concealer and foundation. It has previously been said that she enjoys doing her own hair and makeup.

Prince Harry donned a casual light blue shirt with a pair of dark denim jeans and some trainers.

During their conversation about how the challenges women and young girls face in Nigeria, Harry said: ‘This charity recognises the importance of having young people’s voices at the forefront and not just as advocates but also as decision makers.

‘That is absolutely crucial because you know better than anyone else what is going on, what the conversations are that are happening but also it’s your future.’

The charity posted the caption: Thank you Prince Harry and Meghan for joining us in Nigeria to learn more about how we ensure children don’t just survive but thrive.

‘The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met our Youth Ambassadors Maryam and Purity, who are tireless advocates for children’s rights and the beating heart of our work.’

The couple were spotted arriving in Los Angeles after a marathon 18-hour flight from Nigeria amid a row over their charity’s operating status in California yesterday.

They were pictured being whisked away by a car at Los Angeles International Airport’s ‘Private Suites’ facility.

The Duke and Duchess have called the semi-royal tour ‘fantastic’ and said it will be the ‘first of many memorable trips’ – which included a moment where Meghan hailed Nigeria as ‘her country’ after a DNA test suggested she was part-Nigerian.

They landed back in the United States a few hours before Californian authorities confirmed a ‘delinquency’ row involving their charitable endeavour, the Archewell Foundation, had been resolved following confusion over an unprocessed cheque.

California’s Department of Justice listed the charity, which brought in around $9million (£7.1million) less in donations in 2022 than it did the year before, as ‘not in good standing’ because of an alleged failure to pay a $200 renewal fee.
