Meghan Markle’s high-low Netflix wardrobe: Duchess wears £70 Zara dress with £24,000 Cartier jewellery

Meghan Markle is well known for her luxurious wardrobe, frequently seen in clothing from renowned designers, such as Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren and Erdem.

Her enviable jewellery collection is equally impressive, featuring several Cartier staples, including the Tank Française watch, Love bangle and Juste Un Clou necklace.

These signature pieces make a dazzling appearance in her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, where they can be seen glistening as she places food in the oven.

However, the Duchess appears to have embraced a style evolution in the programme, seamlessly blending designer fashion with high-street finds.

Striking the perfect balance between high-end and accessible fashion, she channels the ‘high-low’ dressing approach with effortless sophistication.

‘My favourite thing about you is your fashion,’ says her close friend Mindy Kaling in the second episode.

Meghan responds by highlighting her appreciation for mixing luxury with affordability.

She reveals she is wearing £85 Zara trousers paired with a £1,100 silk and cashmere Loro Piana knit, which she first wore during her visit to Nigeria last year.

Below, we delve into Meghan’s nifty high-low Netflix wardrobe.

Cashmere crewneck

Meghan, who is known for her neutral-toned outfits, beamed in the kitchen, wearing a £140 cream sleeveless sweater from J Crew.

The cashmere crewneck was paired with a £205 linen pencil skirt from Posse and a pair of Anine Bing earrings, costing £180.

Meghan completed the look with lashings of jewellery, including a £4,300 tennis bracelet from Ariel Gordon.

Tank top

Keeping to her beige colour palette, Meghan turned to J Crew again for another wardrobe staple: a £65 basket-stitch tank top.

The knitted number is detailed with a ribbed trim at the neckline, straps and hem, adding a unique pattern to the classic piece.

Adding a dose of Hollywood glamour, she accessorised with a £3,940 delicate emerald necklace from Logan Hollowell.

Oversized shirt

A classic oversized shirt is the cornerstone of all wardrobe essentials and Meghan is particularly fond of this design from Anine Bing, having worn it in both blue and white.

The Mika shirt is made from airy cotton-poplin and comes with a price tag of £245.

Meghan notably accessorised with her Lorraine Schwartz diamond pinky ring, estimated to be worth £60,000.

Pleated trousers

Showcasing her penchant for high-low dressing, Meghan teamed £85 Zara trousers with a £1,100 Loro Piana knit, first worn in Nigeria last year.

She topped off the look with £700 Bottega Veneta earrings and draped a £325 Jenni Kayne striped cashmere jumper across her shoulders.

Linen dress

While kneading focaccia, Meghan donned a spring-ready linen dress from Zara.

One of her most affordable looks, the £69.99 frock, featuring knot detailing at the shoulder, fell into a loose silhouette.

The sold-out dress was elegantly styled with her £3,750 Cartier Love bracelet and £20,000 Tank Française watch.

Striped shorts

Meghan’s £395 Zimmermann shorts instantly sold out following the release of the trailer.

She paired the flattering pinstripe design with a Mika shirt from Anine Bing, tucking it in to highlight her waist.

On closer inspection, her £15,500 Cartier Juste un Clou necklace could be seen peeking out from beneath.

Polished apron

The Duchess looked every inch the fashionable chef, opting for a £50 Solino Home apron, as she squeezed a lemon.

Fitting perfectly with Meghan’s neutral aesthetic, the simple linen apron was elevated with her uniform of gold bracelets.

In another scene, Meghan layered a mauve linen Ralph Lauren shirt under her affordable apron.

The £570 recycled piece, incorporating mother-of-pearl buttons, was previously worn for her and Prince Harry’s CBS Morning Show interview back in August 2024.
