Meghan Markle dons more than £53,000 worth of jewellery – including Princess Diana’s Cartier watch – as she relaxes at home in new trailer for Netflix series

Meghan Markle showed off her extensive jewellery collection that combines sentimentality with style in the trailer for her new Netflix series.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, donned bracelets, necklaces, and earrings worth at least £53,000 in the promo for ‘With Love, Meghan’ that promises an intimate look inside Meghan’s kitchen.

The trailer was released yesterday and shows the Duchess preparing meals and picking produce from the garden of a Californian mansion, as she readies the home for visits from her famous friends – including Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer

All the while, she can be seen wearing expensive pieces of jewellery – including a nearly £15,000-diamond bracelet and Cartier necklace worth over £12,000.

Meghan also paid tribute to Princess Diana by wearing her £17,800 Cartier Tank Francaise watch that she is rarely seen without.

The emerald-studded necklace was thought to be a tribute to her and Prince Harry’s son Archie because it featured his birthstone.

The stone is also said to inspire healing and friendship, adding another dimension to the Duchess of Sussex’s choice for the mental health summit.

Meghan picked the designer’s £1,600-Leo Diamond Constellation Ring, in a nod to her star sign, for an episode that features a special appearance from her and Prince Harry’s rescue dog Mia.

Other accessories spotted on Meghan in the show’s trailer included an unidentified pinky ring that she reportedly wore during her and Prince Harry’s ‘quasi royal tour’ of Columbia last August.

Elsewhere, she flaunted a pair of baguette diamond leaf studs from Luna Skye worth £2,138 that Meghan previously wore at the Invictus Games in 2023 as well as her CBS Morning Show interview with Prince Harry last August.

She switched those up for Anine Bing’s more modestly priced Gold Double Knot Earrings that are estimated to cost £185.

In a sweet nod to the late Princess of Wales, Meghan wore her gold Cartier Tank Francaise watch with every single one of her immaculately put-together outfits.

The watch was gifted to Diana by her father on her 21st birthday and she wore it on a number of occasions over the years – including a 1997 visit to London’s Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple and an engagement at the British Lung Foundation that same year.

Meghan is known to be a fan of the elegant timepiece and splurged on her own two-tone version back in 2015 when ‘Suits’ was picked up for a third season.

Women’s Wear Daily reported that Prince Harry passed on his mother’s watch to Meghan, who was first seen wearing it publicly in 2020.

The Duchess also wore clothes worth nearly £5,000 in the trailer for ‘With Love, Meghan’ – including a mix of high-street and high-end pieces from brands such as Zara, J Crew, Ralph Lauren, and Zimmermann.

The trailer for Meghan’s new series, which follows the release of Prince Harry’s  critically-panned polo documentary, was released on January 2 – with the Duchess posting the clip on her brand new Instagram account.

Alongside the video, Meghan wrote: ‘I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it.

‘Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun!’ She signed off: ‘As ever, Meghan.’
