EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Sophie Turner adjusts to life among the aristocracy following her split with Joe Jonas

She made her name as noblewoman Sansa Stark in drama Game Of Thrones, so perhaps it’s not surprising Sophie Turner is adjusting to life among the aristocracy.

Having split up with American pop star Joe Jonas, with whom she has two children, earlier this year, the actress is now going out with Peregrine Pearson, Viscount Cowdray’s son and heir.

And Turner, 27, joined Perry, 29, and his upper-class chums for a shooting weekend at the Duke of Marlborough’s Blenheim Palace estate in Oxfordshire.

Wearing green wellies and clutching a champagne flute, she mixed with her boyfriend’s pals including the Marquess of Blandford, George, who will inherit Blenheim.

Others include George’s wife, Camilla, his cousin Alexander Spencer-Churchill and their friend Lady Jemima Herbert.

Anton’s not-so-modest family Christmas gifts

Anton du Beke is top of the leaderboard when it comes to vanity and shameless self-promotion.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge has revealed that he will give friends and family copies of his latest novel for Christmas. And the long-suffering pals usually receive memorabilia emblazoned with his image.

Asked by a magazine if he is a good gift-giver, the ballroom dancer declares: ‘This year, everyone will be getting a copy of The Paris Affair, obviously, as well as the usual signed posters and autographs.’ Let’s hope that Du Beke is joking.

He says: ‘I’m basically Santa Claus because I always give people far too many presents.’

He and his wife, Hannah, have started to ration the gifts they give to their six-year-old twins. ‘Last year, we actually kept some of George and Henrietta’s presents back for their birthday in March,’ he says.

Perhaps the mites would prefer an orange in their stocking over their father’s book?

Prince’s pool prank would’ve been a flop

The Duchess of Sussex would not have been impressed by Prince Harry when he was a teenager, says the Duke of Beaufort.

His family’s butler reprimanded the 16-year-old for throwing fully clothed girls into a pool during a party at the duke’s ancestral home, Badminton House in Gloucestershire.

‘I don’t think Meghan would have got the joke,’ he tells me of Harry’s ‘prank’ at the Oldie Literary Lunch at the National Liberal Club.

The Duke, known as ‘Bunter’, was promoting his new book, The Unlikely Duke, which was serialised in the Daily Mail.

Not only will Keith Richards outlive us all, but the Rolling Stones guitarist claims his voice is improving as he prepares to turn 80 on Monday.

‘People have been telling me that I sound stronger after I stopped smoking cigarettes in 2019,’ he boasts.

‘When we went out on the road a couple years ago, the sound guys started making comments. They were like, ‘Man, your voice . . . what’s happening?’

Since then, singing has felt different – and I’m enjoying it more.’

Luther Ford, who plays a teenage Prince Harry in The Crown’s final season on Netflix, says he tried to remain neutral on the monarchy.

‘They are embedded in British culture whether you like it or not. I didn’t love them or hate them, I was semi-impartial.’

A more-open minded approach than the outright hostility emanating from Montecito.

Ozzy Osbourne has not had a hit single in years but the rockstar’s finances are nothing to be paranoid about.

The Prince of Darkness, 75, has reported a £6 million increase in assets held in his business Monowise, taking them to a staggering £14.1 million.

The company, which reports its principal activity as ‘recording, acting, music publishing and concert production’, retained £8.1 million, including a £3.6 million profit of the year.

Sadly, his wife Sharon said last month that Ozzy’s increasing frailty – he has Parkinson’s – has been ‘heartbreaking’ to witness.
