Duchess Sophie has turned into a fashion icon since marrying the Duke of Edinburgh and becoming a member of the Royal Family. The 59-year wowed fans after she stepped out in a designer ensemble during the Qatari state visit.
The Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wife Sheikha Jawaher were officially greeted at the event held at Horse Guards after jetting over to the UK yesterday (December 3). They were accompanied by the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Following the ceremonial welcome, they then enjoyed lunch at Buckingham Palace followed by a viewing of Qatari items from the royal collection and an exchange of gifts before a star-studded banquet during the evening.
