Designer PJs usually cost £600 – you can get a pair for £40 at M&S


If you have always fancied a pair of designer PJs, then Marks and Spencer’s new collaboration with luxury British nightwear designer Olivia von Halle should be on your radar.

The brand’s collections usually cost between £320 and £980, whereas the prices for the M&S partnership for a pair of pyjamas and a matching sleep mask starts at £40. 

There are 10 pieces in the range, including pyjamas, robes and nightshirts, and all have 1920s-inspired designs. While they are not the 100% silk composition you would see in the designer collection, the silky fabric has a similar feeling. 

If you did snap up a pair, you’d be in A-list company as Olivia von Halle’s designs have been worn by several celebrities, including Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Lopez.

We’ve picked our favourites from the new range- Be quick if you want to snap up a pair as these will sell out. 

These floral pyjamas cost £50 and are inspired by Olivia Von Halle’s Resort 2018 collection, made from a viscose material with a satin finish. There’s contrast piping to give them a sophisticated look, and if you wanted to embrace the sleepwear as occasionwear trend, both the top and bottoms could be styled for an evening event too.

You can also buy the matching robe for £55 if you want the full effect, or the cheapest set in the range is The £40 Floral Print Shortie Set, which has a camisole top and shorts.

You can’t beat a classic striped pyjamas set and this £50 set has a luxurious look, with a piped short-sleeved top and drawstring shorts. These could be one of the most popular sets in the range, as striped are always a classic pyjama design, and these are also are cheaper than the Victoria’s Secret stripe pyjamas, which cost £65.

The matching nightshirt is £45, or you could opt for the long-sleeved version of the pyjama set for £55.
