Christmas tree bauble of Prince William is slammed by royal fans who say it looks nothing like him
A Christmas tree bauble designed in the image of Prince William has been slammed by royal fans.
The festive glass decoration, created by Nebraska vintage collectibles company Cody Foster and Co, is currently on sale for around $25 (£19.76) and features the Prince of Wales in full regalia.
The bizarre holiday ornament sits at around five inches tall and cuts off just below the royal’s chest and elbows, while his face embodies a menacing toothy grin.
The collection includes similar impressions of his wife The Princess of Wales, King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Perhaps the most eye-catching – and insulting – feature of the prince’s bauble is it’s heavily balding head, which notably extends to both the front and back.

The Christmas bauble appears almost caricature-like in its resemblance to the prince, as it imitates his real-life bald spot (Pictured: The Prince of Wales at the Lord High Admiral’s Divisions at the Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth on December 14)
Shiny streaks of reddish-brown hair adorn both sides, while a receding hairline starts at the center of his head, just above a gigantic circle of bare skin.
A lump can be seen protruding from the balding spot, of which a small gold cap is attached in order for customers to fasten it to their Christmas trees.
Meanwhile, the prince’s eyes appear to stare out blankly from beneath two thinly painted eyebrow lines and a creased forehead.
Some fans have also noticed its teeth, which although are on full display, appear to show no indication of the emotion behind the grin.
The ornament has invoked harsh criticism from many who have made no bones about voicing it.
‘These are frightening’ said one.
Another person wrote: ‘They did William so dirty’.
‘Why is his hair glittery?’ asked another.

One person commented: ‘I’m glad I’m not famous and people don’t make me into merchandise’.
Another said: ‘Where would one find this abomination? Because I might need to have this for my friendsmas [friends-Christmas] ornament swap.
‘They got his messed up teeth right too’ chimed one.
Clearly confused, another asked: ‘This is supposed to be William?’
‘Try again’ stated another.
