Cat Deeley wears £27.99 H&M shirt on This Morning

This Morning presenter Cat Deeley is known for her elegant work wardrobe, which features many chic staples that err on the understated side. Her outfits often mix higher-end and more affordable pieces – and Monday’s choice included a particularly good-value piece from a high-street stalwart.

She went for a tonal outfit in shades of khaki, pairing a sleek long shirt with an olive-toned leather skirt cinched in with a brown belt. The shirt costs just £27.99 and is available in all sizes at H&M now

Unfortunately, if you want to replicate the full look, Cat’s leather maxi skirt isn’t quite as affordable as the top half of the outfit. Her Khaki Zig Zag Panel Leather Skirt from Whistles is currently retailing at £263.20—and that’s with a 20% discount.

The look is accessorised with a square buckle belt – similar to this Tan Leather Belt, which is £30 from Wolf & Badger.

If a head-to-toe khaki outfit is a little too much green for you, then you could always pair the H&M khaki shirt with wide-leg jeans or a leather skirt in a different shade. Whatever you decide, Cat’s choices tend to sell out after featuring on TV, so it’s worth being quick if you want to snap up the shirt.

If you want to inject some khaki into your wardrobe but don’t know where to start, you don’t have to buy Cat’s exact shirt to get a similar look.

For an understated look that works for spring and summer, a lightweight linen shirt is always a failsafe option, and the £35.99 Pocket Linen Shirt from Mango is a less military version of Cat’s.

The casual, relaxed style can be worn open over a t-shirt, buttoned up for a smarter look, or styled with linen trousers or shorts when the weather gets warmer.

Barn jackets are a huge trend for 2025, and the £69 Cotton Rich Collared Short Utility Jacket from M&S’ new collection is a khaki version.

You’d be forgiven for thinking this piece was designed solely with fashion in mind, but it’s actually practical, too, with a water-repellent finish that will keep you dry in random spring showers.
