Aboriginal public servant lashes out at Anthony Albanese in shocking foul-mouthed rant – but still manages to keep his job

An Aboriginal artist was able to keep his position on a taxpayer-funded board, despite labelling Anthony Albanese and Penny Wong ‘genocidal c**ts’ who should go and ‘get f****d’.

Fred Leone, an award-winning musician, Indigenous Butchulla songman and founder of Impossible Odds Records, was appointed to the board of the Music Australia Council in August 2023 by Minister of the Arts, Tony Burke.

Mr Leone, who was paid a salary of $24,540 for the role, filmed himself last week attacking the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Burke, also Immigration Minister, for delaying any future recognition of Palestine as a state.

‘You weak ass p**s dog, f**k you Anthony Albanese, f**k you. F**k Penny Wong,’ ,’ Mr Leone said in a self-recorded video posted on Instagram.

‘F**k that weak ass Minister for Immigration, Tony Burke. You can all go get f****d. That’s pathetic: “I’m waiting for the right moment to recognise Palestine” after, what, almost half a million people are dead? You f***king piece of s**t.’

He further branded them as ‘Zionist-siding dog(s)’, before adding: ‘When I see you at the f***ing airport don’t even come near me c**t because I’ll f***ing rip you in front of everybody.’

His comments, first reported by The Australian, were in response to the Prime Minister saying last week that recognition of Palestine as a state must wait until it would ‘advance the objective of the creation of two states’.

‘My entire political life, I’ve said I support two states, the right of Israel to exist within secure borders and the right of Palestinians to have their legitimate aspirations for their own state realised,’ Albanese said on Wednesday.

The Australian reported that Mr Leone, who met Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle during their 2022 tour, has been allowed to keep his job on the taxpayer-funded board until his term expires at the end of August.

Burke, who is also Minister for Home Affairs, Cyber Security and the Arts, said that Mr Leone’s ‘language escalated as soon as he was told that he wasn’t going to be reappointed to Music Australia’.

Daily Mail Australia approached Mr Leone for comment.
