Meghan Markle ‘plotting a comeback’: Duchess of Sussex ‘may return to TV or write tell-all memoir’ amid claims she is preparing a ‘Meghanaissance’ after legal war with sister and bitter fallout with the Royal Family
A comeback by the Duchess of Sussex following a muted few months is believed to be imminent, in what insiders have dubbed the ‘Meghanaissance’.
Meghan, 42, has been rarely in the spotlight for a number of weeks, as husband Harry has been taking a more prominent role.
But sources claim Meghan could be readying her very own memoir and follow in the Duke’s footsteps for a new book.
She has already penned children’s tome The Bench so may feel another published work is a natural next step.
Others suggest the enduring popularity of Netflix series Suits could tempt her to return to acting.

What is certain is that Meghan will have at least some of her time taken up by court proceedings.
Her half-sister Samantha Markle is trying to sue her over comments that were made in a documentary for Netflix the pair created.
Samantha, who is based in America, said she was going to sue Meghan for what she described as ‘defamation and injurious falsehoods’.
The Duchess signed with top Hollywood talent agency WME back in April in preparation for what a source called a ‘Meghanaissance’.
She joined clients that include Hollywood A-Listers Eddie Murphy, Gwen Stefani and Liam Payne.
Royal expert Tom Bower, Author of Revenge, told The Times a book could be next on her schedule.
He said: ‘It will be Meghan’s truth. There will be a readership for it because she’ll undoubtedly settle some scores from her point of view.
‘What she says she said to the Queen, to Kate, to Philip, all that will be in the book whether corroborated or not, and that’s a goldmine.

‘I think she absolutely is going to return to acting,’ he added.
‘With the popularity of Suits on Netflix right now there have been rumblings on whether the show could actually come back.’
Another royal watcher Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun Meghan and Harry were just waiting for the right time to return.
He said: ‘What’s important is that they launch a fight back – but we don’t yet know what that is going to look like.
‘At the moment if feels as though their empire is crumbling but its not crumbled yet.
‘The question is why are they so quiet at the moment? What is going on?
‘It really does seem they are brewing something up with their new team.
‘I would not be surprised if we had an announcement from them very soon.’
Archewell, Meghan and Harry’s charity, have been contacted for comment, as have her lawyers but neither responded by the time of publication.

Meghan Harry enjoyed a child-free night out in Las Vegas over the weekend as they watched Katy Perry perform one of her last residency concerts.
In footage shared online, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be seen enjoying the show from the front seats of a section at the Resorts World Theatre on Saturday night.
Both wearing black ensembles, Meghan is said to have commanded attention in a sparkly, gem-encrusted outfit, teamed with a blazer, while Harry, 39, wore a sophisticated suit and a matching shirt.
They were joined in the VIP section by Celine Dion, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal. Both parties arrived separately.
Katy – who has performed for King Charles and other members of the British Royal Family at the Coronation concert after attending the crowning of the monarch in London – made headlines around the world in 2018 after making critical remarks about the Duchess’ Givenchy wedding dress.
Meghan tied the knot with Harry at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in May 2018.
Her designer dress featured an open bateau neckline and a triple silk organza underskirt which was paired with the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau tiara.
But when asked about her opinion on the minimalistic gown, Katy advised: ‘I would have done one more fitting!’ before giving the Entertainment Tonight camera a mischievous wink.
Katy – who has met the monarch several times during work events – took to the stage at King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Coronation concert this summer.
She looked sensational in a huge gold metallic gown as she entertained the 20,000 strong audience with a selection of her most famous hits.
Beaming Katy thanked His Majesty for the privilege and revealed her honour as she gushed: ‘I got to bring my mum and stay in a castle!’.
Harry and Meghan apparently attended the pop star’s performance alongside the Duchess’ friend and fashion designer Misha Nonoo, and Misha’s husband oil tycoon Mikey Hess, according to fan accounts.
