Meghan Markle’s shock Netflix editing fail exposed: Producers forced to dub episode of her show – after she couldn’t stop talking about herself during segment with Mindy Kaling

Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series has been hit with more controversy as claims have emerged producers had to dub the actress asking her guests questions about their life because she was too busy talking about her own.

With Love, Meghan sees the Duchess of Sussex, 43, invite friends and famous guests to her $14.65million California mansion, which she shares with husband Prince Harry, to offer cooking and hosting tips.

Some viewers have pointed out that Meghan spends one episode mostly talking about herself, and producers later added voice overs of her asking her guests stars questions.

In the second episode of the show, Meghan invites US actor Mindy Kaling to her lavish home to learn how to make finger food and host a luxury children’s party.

Meghan shares children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, with Prince Harry, 40, while Mindy, 45, has three children—Katherine, seven, Spencer, four, and Anne, two—whose father she has kept secret

During the episode, Meghan spent much of the time speaking about the meals she was making and telling Mindy anecdotes about her personal life, including one story about her science teacher Mr Ben who recently died.

Meanwhile, Mindy shared very little about her own life and was instead seen  complimenting Meghan on her lifestyle.

In the final 15 minutes of the episode, Mindy finally shared an anecdote about ‘loving restaurants and food’ growing up.

However, the comment did not appear to be prompted by Meghan as a very clear voice over of the Duchess was edited into the clip, asking Mindy: ‘What kind of things did you like to do as a kid?’

The clip then cuts back to Mindy and images of her as a child as she responds: ‘Growing up, I loved restaurants and food. So, I would find little recipes and then cook for my mum and dad at home.’

It’s unclear if a producer asked Mindy to share a story about her childhood or if the actress freely offered the information.

The apparent editing fail was also spotted by US media personality Megyn Kelly, who claimed Meghan often spoke more about herself in her the Netflix series and rarely asked her guests questions.

She added the few moments Meghan inquired about her celebrity friends’ lifestyles, the questions were often dubbed rather than asked during filming.

‘You can see the break,’ Megyn, 54, said on her podcast.

‘It’s like someone had to coach her on how to be a normal person who is an actual friend who has interest in something other than themselves.’

It comes after Meghan hit back at claims she was ‘out of touch with the real world’ after her Netflix show aired.

Meghan, who lives in a sprawling Montecito mansion with Prince Harry and their children, said she is friends with ‘stay-at-home’ mums and ‘working women with normal jobs’ after critics slammed her ‘tone deaf’ show.

She also revealed how she goes to yoga and fitness classes with 40 to 50 others—sometimes on her own or with friends—and she recently greeted a stranger next to her with a fist bump and a ‘well done’.

Meghan said: ‘Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is.’

‘I have a couple of girlfriends up here—these are stay-at-home mums and working women with normal jobs, not in the public eye,’ she told People of her life in California.

‘We went from just connecting through our kids to having girls’ nights out or doing Pilates together.’

One mother from the school run has said Meghan recently came to a child’s birthday party where she was ‘chilling’ with parents and talked about ‘mum stuff and life’.

‘You can see that, as a unit, they’re all very connected,’ the friend briefed People.

Speaking to People, the Sussexes’ favoured publication in the US, Meghan said she feels part of the community in Montecito.

It came after With Love, Meghan was widely panned and branded ‘out of touch’.

Family Ties and Desperate Housewives star Justine Bateman said the Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix show hasn’t flown because people do not want to ‘watch someone playact at something they didn’t earn’.

She said she doesn’t believe ‘anyone wishes [Meghan] ill’ and she has every right to have a cooking show or ‘start a podcast or two’.

But she added the public also have the right not to ‘go along with another’s “narrative” anymore’.
