Lady Amelia Windsor reveals her dramatic new haircut on Instagram ahead of summer
Lady Amelia Windsor has shown off her dramatic new hairstyle for the summer as she revealed she’d had several inches of her long locks cut off.
The 28-year-old model took to her Instagram Story on Thursday to document her visit to a London-based hairdressers, before revealing her new look.
Prince Harry and Prince William‘s third cousin has ditched her long blonde tresses in favour of a more stripped back look.
She ditched her long mane for a modern bob that highlights her jaw and decided to go to George Northwood hairdressers for her new cut.
The company hold an illustrious clientele including Rachel Weisz, Alicia Vikander and Julianne Moore. Hairdresser George Northwood has also been favourited by the likes of Alexa Chung and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Lady Amelia teased the new transformation on her story by posting a picture with her golden strands strewn across the floor along with the eyes emoji.
The royal, who previously studied French and Italian at The University of Edinburgh, then later uploaded a clip of a hairdresser blowdrying her styled, wet hair.
When it was dry, Amelia then shared another video of her beaming and shaking her head to show off her new hairdo as she appeared to be very happy with the result.
Lady Amelia and her older sister, Lady Marina, are the granddaughters of Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, of whom their father, George Windsor, is the youngest son of.
Amelia is also King Charles ‘s second cousin once removed and 43rd in line to the throne.
The young royal works as model and has signed on with the Storm Model Management, which also has Lady Kitty Spencer, Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss on their roaster.
Her modelling career was launched in 2016, when she graced the cover of Tatler, who dubbed her Britain’s ‘most beautiful’ royal.
Since then, Amelia has collaborated with Bulgari, Chanel and is a contributing fashion editor for Tatler magazine.

Amelia was last seen last week at the Chelsea Flower Show where she debuted her first ever flower display.
The royal looked radiant as she arrived in a red gingham pattern maxi dress, which was completed with halter neckline and chunky white trainers to keep it casual.
She had been working with the team at Kent Wildflower Seeds to bring their first garden of wild flowers to the 2024 show.
The model, who had just returned from a whirlwind trip to Venice, attended the show to offer her ‘creativity and support’ to the display.
The final results of the flower display were stunning, with the range of wildflowers including yellow rattle, common toadflax and ragged robin.

One standout element was a series of drawers, from which the wildflowers sprouted for a wild but aesthetically pleasing look.
Meanwhile artist Claire Basler painted a ‘magical’ backdrop for the wildflower display including musk mallow, clover, daisies, fennel and wild carrot.
‘So excited and honoured to be a very small part of the team for Kent Wildflower Seeds’s first garden at the Chelsea Flower Show,’ Lady Amelia wrote on her Instagram page.
As well as her work as a model, the green-thumbed Amelia is a freelance gardening writer.
