Meghan Markle has inconsistent statements about her knowledge of the royal family, according to a report. She allegedly claimed she didn’t know about the British royals before she met Prince Harry in 2016, but a resurfaced blog entry revealed otherwise.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sparked a second tell-all when they were photographed reportedly visiting Oprah Winfrey over the weekend. In their bombshell interview with Winfrey last year, Meghan Markle said she did not research the royals before she wed Prince Harry and implied she had not much knowledge about them before she joined the firm.
“Thank God I didn’t know a lot about the family. Thank God I hadn’t researched. I would’ve been so in my head about it,” Markle said as quoted by Express.
However, an unearthed post on her defunct blog, The Tig, suggested that she may have known about the royal family. The outlet noted that in 2014, two years before she met Prince Harry on a blind date, she blogged about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding. In the entry, she revealed that she wanted to be a princess like Middleton.
