Protests erupted upon William and Kate’s visit to Jamaica
Jamaica was just one stop on William and Kate’s eight-day tour. A palace spokesperson told People that the island was one of the Caribbean countries “with which Her Majesty has had an extremely warm relationship following multiple visits throughout her reign. Those trips have helped to provide inspiration for many of the engagements that their Royal Highnesses will carry out during their tour.”
But the royal couple were met with protest as they arrived.
