Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland joins friends at star-studded Beyoncé concert after attending with Duchess and Prince Harry

Meghan Markle‘s mother Doria Ragland partied the night away as she joined friends at Beyoncé’s  42nd birthday concert days after attending the gig with Duchess.

The mother-of-one, 67, opted for a smart black tank top with silver jewellery as she joined a group of girlfriends at the concert at the SoFi Stadium this week. 

In a video posted on Instagram by lawyer Gina Zapanta, Doria could be seen sitting in a private box at the gig, where she nodded her head and danced along with Beyoncé.

There were a number of celebrities at the concert this week, including Doria’s daughter Meghan, who partied with Katy Perry, the Kardashians, Lizzo, Chris Rock, Adele, the Biebers and a host of other stars.

Doria’s attendance comes after a busy week for the mother-of-one, who also attended Beyoncé’s Friday night concert with Meghan and Prince Harry.

In the video posted by Gina, a lawyer who is believed to be friends with Doria, Meghan’s mother could be seen enjoying the event in a VIP box with the group of girl friends.

She danced along to songs, as well as posing for snaps with the group – despite the fact it was her second time in days seeing the concert.

On Friday, Doria and Meghan were spotted dancing the night away at the concert, which fell on the mother-of-one’s 67th birthday.

Doria has kept a resolutely low profile throughout the her daughter’s elevation to royal status and the subsequent move to America. 

However in recent weeks, the mother-of-one has stepped out in Hollywood at a number of events.

Last week, she attended the This Is About Humanity’s fifth annual soiree in Los Angeles.

She was joined by her friend Gina, as well as a host of other celebrities whom she posed with, including  Kris Jenner and her A-list daughter, Kim Kardashian.

She donned a colourful J.Crew shift tunic dress for the event. 

The vibrant outfit from Michelle Obama‘s favourite brand, J.Crew, featured bold paisley patterns in yellow, orange, and pink shades.

The grandmother to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet accessorised the outfit with a sophisticated pair of Chloe ‘Lauren’ heeled pumps in a light tan shade. Doria wore her hair tied up, which displayed a classic pair of gold hoop earrings.

Doria complimented her earrings with a single gold bangle and a unique white and silver necklace with circular embellishments.

The full-length sleeves of the dress were ever so slightly ruffled up, exposing Doria’s striking tattoos just above her wrist, including a delicate butterfly illustration.

Make-up was kept to a minimum, with just a slight sheen of gloss to Doria’s lips, revealing her naturally luminous complexion. 

Doria seems closer than ever to her daughter and reportedly has her own ‘granny flat’ at the Sussexes’ Montecito mansion.

And she has a swirling flower tattoo on her right forearm which many believe is a nod to her touching childhood nickname for Meghan, who she has always called ‘Flower’.

As The Mail on Sunday’s US Editor Caroline Graham reported at the time, Meghan’s mother was a key force in ‘Megxit’ – Harry and Meghan’s controversial decision to leave front line Royal duties and Britain itself in 2020 for a new life in north America. 

The concert this week appeared to mark a big Hollywood comeback for the Duchess, who posed for snaps with Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland and actress Kerry Washington.

The Duchess stuck close to Tyler Perry, Lilibet’s billionaire godfather, as she posed for pictures in a VIP Champagne bar at the SoFi Stadium.

Footage on social media showed Meghan laughing as Hollywood glitterati including Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Jeff Bozos and other big names rubbed shoulders at one of the biggest celebrity gatherings of 2023.

Meghan is rumoured to be on the brink of a massive commercial relaunch of her Tig blog to rival Gwyneth Paltrow‘s $250million brand Goop. A return to Instagram is also said to be on the cards – with experts predicting she could make $1million or more per sponsored post. 

It came after Prince Harry mingled with stars at the LAFC match on Sunday night, where he appeared to have developed a bromance with Rob McElhenney and Will Ferrell. 

During the match with Messi’s Inter Miami, Harry sat next to Hollywood venture capitalist friend Adam Lilling, who is thought to be helping the Sussexes with their big rebrand after success with Matthew McConaughey and Nicole Kidman.

On August 26, Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland was seen cosying up to Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian at a glitzy event for charity This Is Humanity in Los Angeles 

The Sussexes have been regulars at celeb-packed events in California in the past week, after months of largely keeping a low profile.

Harry heads to Europe this week for the WellChild Awards in London and then to the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf.

Photos taken of the Duchess show her looking similar to her days as an actress and influencer with a laid-back style, compared to the formality of being a working royal.

Her appearance with Django Unchained star Washington and Beyoncé’s ex-Destiny’s Child bandmate Rowland will no doubt help launch her back into the Hollywood fold.
