Over the past two years, Meghan and Harry have let slip nicknames they use to call their beloved son Archie. Royal watchers, including The List’s Christine-Marie Liwag Dixon, have picked up four adorable monikers.
The first one was heard during Archie’s introduction to royal engagements.
The little Sussex travelled to South Africa with his parents in September 2019 and took part in their meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter Thandeka Tutu Gxashe.
Upon being introduced to the tot, the Archbishop’s daughter said: “Oh precious! Hello!
“Ready for the cameras aren’t you?”
Encouraging her son to interact with the host, Meghan let slip the nickname “bubba”.
She said: “Say hello, hello, hi. Oh bubba!”
A few weeks later, Meghan and Harry revealed another sweet moniker used for their son.
On October 31, 2019, the couple published a post on their now-defunct Instagram account Sussex Royal to mark Halloween.
There, they recalled how they had spent the day one year earlier, when Meghan was pregnant with Archie.

And they called their son “our little pumpkin”.
The post, signed off by Meghan and Harry as “THR” (Their Royal Highnesses), read: “‘Wishing you all a safe and fun Halloween from our family (and our little pumpkin) to yours!’ – TRH”
A third nickname for Archie was revealed by Meghan in a video filmed by the Duke of Sussex and shared on the little Sussex’s first birthday.
