Kate Middleton opted for one of Meghan Markle’s style staples for her latest royal visit and she even gave it a Welsh twist to honor the important occasion.
Though many people might still be a little confused about what Kate Middleton’s title will be when Prince Charles becomes King, she will one day become Princess of Wales. As second in the royal line of succession, it’s expected that Prince William will be invested as Prince of Wales himself at this time, making the couple’s royal connection with Wales all the more important. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated this link with their latest outing which took place on St David’s Day, the day of Wales’ Patron Saint.
During their visit, Prince William and Kate undertook a packed schedule of engagements, including a visit to Abergavenny Market where they saw the benefits that local businesses receive from their communities first-hand. For this part of the trip, Kate stunned in a smart outfit that paid homage not only to the Welsh flag, but to her sister-in-law Meghan Markle’s style staple.
