Christmas carols were beginning to play and the COVID pandemic was still in full swing when Meghan Markle last stepped out in public – wearing a daring red gown.
But after three months away from the public eye, the Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry made a rather different appearance – at a low-key dinner with another major royal.

The duo was spotted on February 22 on a double date at a restaurant in California – with none other than Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
And by the animated looks on the faces of a delighted Meghan and Harry, it appears the evening was a roaring success.
Meghan wore a cream blazer and pants for the occasion, while Harry kept it simple in a dark-coloured ensemble.

Their relaxed demeanour was a far cry from their appearance at the Intrepid Museum’s ‘Salute to Freedom’ gala on November 10 – held to honour veterans ahead of Remembrance Day.
For that occasion, Meghan wore a bright red gown, complete with the kind of plunging neckline she likely wouldn’t have dared wear before she and Harry “stepped back” from their duties as senior royals.
