Kate’s 12-carat blue sapphire and diamond ring has been voted the most popular ring, just ahead of Meghan Markle’s trilogy ring.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s ring famously belonged to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana.
The Duchess of Sussex’s ring fetches around 31,200 searches per year – five times more than the average yearly search for other royal rings, excluding Kate’s.
Meghan’s is a six-carat, cushion-cut trilogy ring designed by Prince Harry himself and reportedly costing around £100,000. It features a diamond from Botswana and two smaller diamonds from Princess Diana’s own collection.
To mark Valentine’s Day, creative resource Design Bundles analysed and listed the country’s 25 most popular royal engagement rings.
