In her Platinum Jubilee message last week, the Queen, 95, expressed her “sincere wish” that the Duchess receive the honour when Charles takes to the throne.
The monarch also called on the public to support the pair as rulers when the time comes.

An insider also told the Telegraph that the Duchess had proved to be a “rock” for her husband after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to quit as senior royals.
