Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have earned one of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medals, according to royal commentator Christina Garibaldi. The US Weekly Correspondent said that the couple’s “work on charities and things like that” qualifies them for a Jubilee medal. The Queen is set to hand out nearly 400,000 medals this year to those who have served the Crown.
The medals, which have been created to mark the Queen’s record-breaking 70 years on the throne, will be awarded on February 6.
Among those receiving honours will be front-line workers who worked perilously through the pandemic.
This will feature members of the NHS, police, fire, emergency and prison services.
Members of the royal household who have been in service for at least a year, and recipients of the George and Victoria Cross, the highest military honour in the UK, will also feature.

However, questions remain on whether Prince Andrew, Prince Harry or Meghan Markle will receive an award.
Speaking on the Royally Us podcast, Ms Garibaldi said: “There are over 400,000 medals that will be handed out this year to those who served the Crown but it is the decision to reportedly present medals to members of the royal family that has raised some flags.”
The royal commentator said it was unclear whether this will include non-working members of the family like Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan.
