Royal experts are predicting that 2022 could be the year Prince Harry makes a royal comeback.
Royal historian Ed Owens told Metro UK that the prince’s upcoming memoir, to be published this year, could actually go a long way towards mending his relationship with the rest of the royal family.
Owens says the prince shows no evidence of wanting to “burn all his bridges” and may even be planning a sort of royal comeback.
According to the royal expert, this is particularly likely to happen if the Queen’s health deteriorates over the next few months.
“A lot of commentators are saying the memoir represents a real threat to the house of Windsor,” Owens told Metro UK.
“That the royal family will be ‘quaking in their boots’ to see what explosive revelations Harry comes up with. To a certain extent there will be things in there that the Royal family would rather was not made public,” he said. “But there will also be plenty of stuff in this memoir which works in favour of the monarchy back in Britain.”
Prince Harry could still play a role during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations this year.
