Meghan and Prince Harry travelled to New York for the second time in a few weeks in early November to appear at a few events. Their visit was hugely successful – but a source claimed the Duchess of Sussex was looking forward to returning to California, where their beloved children Archie Harrison and Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana had remained.
A source, described as a friend, told People magazine: “They love it in N.Y.C., but they were ready to go home and get back to the kids.
“Meghan was starting to feel homesick.”
During their November visit to New York, Meghan took part in a panel part of the New York Times’ DealBook summit.
During this event, she spoke openly about being an advocate for paid parental leave in the US, an issue she deems “humanitarian” rather than political.

With Harry, she attended the Salute to Freedom Gala, an event dedicated to paying tribute to extraordinary Army personnel.
This weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their first Christmas as a family of four, as their daughter Lili was born earlier this summer.
Speaking about Meghan and Harry’s new life as non-working royals across the pond, the source said: “They are loving life in California.”
