Prince Harry and Meghan Markle astonished the world with their Oprah Winfrey interview earlier this year, but according to a royal biographer another tell-all special could be on the way.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah Winfrey interview in March left royal fans shocked with their revelations about life in the royal spotlight. The Duke and Duchess sat down with the talk show host just months after they “stepped back” as senior royals. During the 90 minute special, the couple addressed everything from Meghan’s mental health to Prince Harry’s claim that Prince William and Prince Charles are “trapped” in the institution – something an expert has since said is not his “place to say”.
Now royal biographer Duncan Larcombe has expressed his belief that a second Prince Harry and Meghan interview could happen in the future – potentially even with Oprah again. Though he suggested it likely won’t go down well with the rest of the Royal Family, especially in light of what’s come before.
Speaking to Closer, the author and royal expert explained, “I really wouldn’t be surprised if they’re planning another Oprah interview. Harry and Meghan have caused chaos and I suspect there’s no stopping them.”
Duncan went on to claim that further high-profile interviews could follow in the future, reflecting that they could use them as promotion for Prince Harry’s “accurate and wholly truthful” royal memoir which is set for a 2022 release.
