Ever since Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle became royalty they’ve had access to levels of glitz and glam most of us could only dream of.
From sparkling tiaras and necklaces to dazzling brooches and diamond earrings, the pair are two of the best dressed people in the world.
Most of it comes from another much loved Princess who left her treasures to her sons William and Harry after her death.
Princess Diana wrote: “I would like you to allocate all my jewellery to the share to be held by my sons, so that their wives may, in due course, have it or use it. I leave the exact division of the jewellery to your discretion.”
To help compare what each Duchess is rocking, MyLondon has compared their most glamorous pieces with a story to tell.
For both their weddings the two Princesses borrowed tiaras from the Queen, and although the styles were different neither were short on jewels.
Meghan’s 2018 wedding saw her wear a Filigree tiara originally belonging to Queen Mary and inherited by Elizabeth II in 1953 – it was the perfect match for her beautiful Givenchy gown.
In 2011 Kate opted for the Cartier Halo Scroll tiara, gifted to the Queen on her 18th birthday and featuring nearly 1000 diamonds.
She hasn’t worn it since but it certainly left an impression along with her statement Alexander McQueen…
