Piers Morgan has admitted that he’s thankful to Meghan Markle as she’s been “great for his career”.
The former Good Morning Britain host quit the ITV show after he said he didn’t believe her when she said she’d suffered from suicidal thoughts.
Over 50,000 people, including the Duchess of Sussex herself, complained and he was told to apologise or leave, and he stepped down from the show days later.
Now he’s admitted that speaking about Meghan has boosted his career, and he paid her a rare compliment.
Speaking to The Mirror at the TRIC Awards, Piers said: “What would Meghan think? Who cares?!

“Honestly, she’s been great for my career to be honest with you. I really want to thank her.”
Ofcom recently ruled in favour of Piers after investigating his comments about Meghan, and Piers said it’s a victory for free speech.
He went on: “We haven’t heard much out of her then have we? She’s gone a bit quiet.
“It was a victory for free speech. Whether people like me or don’t like me, we’re all entitled to an opinion.”
