Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge have opted for “peace and tranquility” in the wake of their fallout with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. According to royal expert Stewart Pearce, the couple would have found the Oprah Winfrey interview “too painful” to openly discuss and choose to ignore the “crazy” stories that are often circulated about them.
When asked if the couple reflects on their relationship with the Sussexes, Stewart Pearce told Royally Us: “It’s too painful, those things that are crazy we leave them where they are because we know that after all, if we go into the body of what that invective is all about, it really stings.
“There’s so much of it, it’s not that William and Kate leave all of the controversies about Harry and Meghan alone, they feel it but what they do is just simply position it there because after all, it’s not their responsibility to be involved in verbalising anything.
“What they do is simply offer as much peace and tranquility and calm as possible.”
Whilst Prince Harry and Meghan have spoken publicly about their experiences within the Royal Family, William and Kate have followed royal protocol and have remained silent.
