Prince Harry’s new docuseries, The Me You Can’t See, has been released today on Apple+ TV and he has revealed that one of Archie’s first words made him “really sad”.
Talking about his son in episode five, Harry shared that he has a photograph of his mother hung in Archie’s nursery and that one of his 2-year-old’s first word was “grandma”.
“I got a photo of her in his nursery, and it was one of the first words that he said — apart from ‘mama,’ ‘papa,’ it was then ‘grandma’. Grandma Diana,” he shared.
“It’s the sweetest thing, but at the same time, it makes me really sad because she should be here.”
This is not the first time that Harry has spoken about his son learning to talk. During his interview with James Corden for a special segment on The Late Late Show back in March of this year, he revealed that Archie can also say “crocodile”.
“My son is now over a year and a half, he is hysterical, he’s got the most amazing personality, he’s already putting two, three words together,” he told the host of The Late, Late Show. “He’s already singing songs. His first word was ‘crocodile’, three syllables.”
Meghan and Harry are expecting another baby in July 2021. The couple announced the happy news in February. Their official statement to People read: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child”.
