Prince Harry made his highly-anticipated return this month after more than a year away from the UK. Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex decided to step back from their senior royal roles in March 2020, departing the UK to make their home in the US. With their son Archie, Harry and Meghan now reside in Montecito, California.
Prince Harry met with members of the Royal Family when he visited Windsor earlier this month for Prince Philip’s funeral, and many were delighted to see Harry and Prince William talking following the event.
Earlier this year, the Duke’s bombshell interview with his wife Meghan and US TV legend Oprah Winfrey caused an enormous stir, with Harry acknowledging his relationship with his family had suffered.
Harry said in the interview he felt “let down” by his father, Prince Charles, as well as revealing his relationship with his brother Prince William is “space at the moment”.
But he added: “I love William to bits, he’s my brother, we’ve been through hell together, we have a shared experience, but we were on different paths.”
“His intention is to come back. One may wonder, if his wife has just had a baby, I’m sure he could jump on a private jet and make a flying visit.
“But, will it be a convenient excuse so he doesn’t have to come back and face the family? I think a lot will determine what happens in the interim period.”
