Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, has reportedly arrived back in the U.K. ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral on Saturday, a month after his bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey and his first return to the country since stepping down as a working Royal and moving to California a year ago.
Prince Harry, Prince Philip’s grandson, arrived in London Sunday in order to attend his grandfather’s funeral Saturday, The Sun reported.
Harry was reportedly met by security staff and has gone into quarantine, per England’s Covid-19 restrictions.
Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, will not attend the funeral, Buckingham Palace confirmed, having been advised by doctors not to travel due to her pregnancy.
Buckingham Palace have not confirmed Harry’s arrival though have confirmed his planned attendance.
Prince Philip, the longest serving royal consort in British history, died Friday at Windsor Castle. His funeral, which would typically be expected to be a rather large and public affair, will be a small, private affair in Windsor Castle.
