The garden was created to help staff working on the frontline unwind – and some of the money the money was raised by former patients and families of those who died of the deadly virus without their loved ones nearby.
The Princess Royal was expected to visit her mother the Queen who is marking her first birthday as a widow today (Wednesday April 21, 2021) following the death of Prince Philip
It’s unclear if she called in on the Queen at Windsor Castle this morning but by lunchtime, the Princess was seen at her local NHS hospital where three of her five grandchildren were born.
Bystanders alerted by the security team and hospital bigwigs were surprised and impressed to see her at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on such an emotional visit so soon after losing the father she was so close to.
