Prince Philips lived up to the ripe old age of 99. During his lifetime, the Duke of Edinburgh was fortunate enough to not only be around his grandchildren but also got to meet several of his great-grandchildren.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip had four children together following their marriage in 1947. Their four children went on to give the royal couple eight grandchildren. The Queen and Prince Philip not only witnessed the birth of their grandchildren but also got to be with the ten great-grandchildren that were added to the family over the years.
