The Queen’s granddaughter gave birth to her first children in February. Today it emerged that the Princess and her husband have sent lovely messages thanking royal fans for their warm wishes following August’s birth.
A picture of one card was shared on Twitter by Royal fan account History, Royals and Other Things.
The exquisitely written letter reads: “Thank you so much for thinking of us and celebrating the birth of our beautiful baby boy, August.
“Words cannot express the joy and love we feel.
“With our very best,
“I love how she’s printed it from a handwritten message, just like with the wedding replies – so much person! What a wonderful surprise for you.”
Another said: “So nice surprise! All the Royals are very kind to answer to letters (they’ve) received from people.”
A third tweeted: “Congratulations on your reply, I can’t wait to also hear back from them.”
The news emerged shortly after the princess marked turning 31 by sharing adorable pictures of her baby son.
Prince Andrew’s daughter uploaded the two new photos on Instagram as she reached out to thank fans for their birthday messages.
She wrote: “Thank you for the birthday love yesterday… I got the best present I could ask for!!”
The post was accompanied by two new photos, one of which showed a beaming Eugenie holding August in her arms while looking at proud dad Jack.
In the picture, August is wearing a white baby…
