The drama surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry quitting the royal family will be fictionalised in a Lifetime movie, it has been announced.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussexs’ decision to step down as senior royals, the reasons behind it and their struggles will all be portrayed in a Lifetime film called Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace.
The new film will be the third of a series of productions by the cable network focused on Meghan and Harry’s romance.
Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace will depict a version of “what really happened inside the palace that drove Harry and Meghan to leave everything behind in order to make a future for themselves and their son Archie,” according to Deadline.
Moreover, it will focus on the Duchess of Sussex’s growing isolation and sadness, Meghan and Harry feeling let down by the Firm for not protecting them and the Duke of Sussex’s private concerns over history repeating itself, reports The Express.
Finally, it will feature the widely reported rift between the Sussexes and the Cambridges as well as tensions between Prince Harry, his brother and his father Prince Charles.
