Prince William and his younger brother Harry have struggled to see eye to eye over the Megxit row and their relationship has grown even more complicated following the Duke of Sussex’s claims about the Royal Family to US chatshow host Oprah Winfrey. Behind the scene “peace talks” are reported to be underway between the two warring Princes with Ms Nicholl arguing the Palace will reveal “less and less” about the progress as they move closer to Princess Diana’s commemoration in July.
Ms Nicholls told Entertainment Tonight: “Well I think you’re going to hear less and less about the current state of the relationship between the brothers.
“For the simple reason that every time something is leaked to the media, it sets those peace talks back.
“We do have a deadline approaching.
“Come July a statue is going to be unveiled to pay tribute to Diana, the Princess of Wales on what would have been her sixtieth birthday.”
During the unprecedented interview, Harry opened up on his relationship with his older brother.
He said: “I love William to bits. We’ve been through hell together, and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.
“The relationship is space at the moment, and time heals all things, hopefully.”
