The baby, named Lucas Philip Tindall, is 22nd in line to the British throne. His middle name was chosen as a tribute to Mr Tindall father and Mrs Tindall grandfather, Prince Philip.
In a statement Buckingham Palace said the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh are “delighted” by the news and “look forward to meeting their 10th great-grandchild when circumstances allow”.
According to Hello! Harry and Meghan also congratulated the couple privately.
Former England rugby player Mr Tindall is known to be close to Prince Harry and played against him at the 2014 Invictus Games in wheelchair rugby.
Last month the Sussexes’ announced they are expecting another baby following Meghan’s tragic miscarriage last year.
At the end of an incendiary interview with Oprah Winfrey they revealed the child will be a girl.
Mr Tindall revealed his wife gave birth on the bathroom floor as the couple were unable to make it to a hospital in time.
Speaking on his podcast ‘The Good, The Bad & The Rugby’ he said: “Arrived very quickly.
“Didn’t make it to hospital. On the bathroom floor.

On the podcast Mr Tindall revealed it was his wife’s friend, Dolly, who “recognised that we wouldn’t have got to hospital in time”.
Dolly was present during the birth of both Mia and Lena.
