This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has told Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to “shut up” following reports of the fallout from their interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Phillip, 58, made the remark as he discussed reports that Meghan, 39, had not spoken to the Royal Family since the explosive interview while 36 year old Harry is said to have had “unproductive” talks with Prince Charles and William.
Speaking with commentators Beverley Turner and Gyles Brandreth via video link on Wednesday 17 March’s This Morning show, while he was joined by Holly Willoughby in the studio, Phillip said: “The thing is that there’s been an enormous of sympathy over the race issue and mental health issue – an enormous amount of sympathy.
“But, looking at the polls we had at the moment, that sympathy seems to be ebbing away quite quickly.
