Enthralled fans have welcomed back the most popular show on TV to its usual slot after a rapid rescheduling last week.
Crime drama Unforgotten has had the nation gripped in recent weeks – pulling in a total audience of over 7.5 million.
But the ITV hit, now in its fourth season, took a backseat to Prince Harry and Meghan’s bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview last week.
Returning to 9pm last night, viewers were once again captivated by Detectives Cassie Stuart and Sunil ‘Sunny’ Khan as they try to solve a cold murder case.
Starring Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar in the lead roles, fans have been going crazy for the show online, coming up with their own theories about what has happened.
In Episode Four, fans will found out more about what led to a body being found in a freezer – with the detectives discovering a link between all of the suspects in the crime.
The pair were told by a former police officer that Fiona, Liz, Dean, Ram and the victim Robert “formed a little gang” because “they were out on their own”.
The source told them that the group were very isolated, with no one else ever going to their events.
He suggests that could be why they have been so secretive about the circumstances surrounding Robert’s death.
With new evidence proving that Robert was murdered, truths will have to start coming out.
