Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first broke the news they were dating in 2016. The pair were reportedly introduced by mutual friends in July 2016 – but it is unclear whether they met in the USA or here in the UK, and the couple went public with their relationship in 2017.
They made their first public outing together at an official event in March 2017, where they were pictured at a polo match in Ascot.
In September 2017, Meghan took part in an interview in Vanity Fair, a move seen as highly unusual for someone becoming involved in the Royal Family.
